Wooster Generals - 2010 team capsule
POSTED: 03:32 p.m. EDT, Aug 25, 2010

WOOSTER GENERALS
League: Ohio Cardinal Conference.
Coach: Mike McCreary, 12th year.
Coach's record: 58-54.
2009 record: 5-5, 3-4.
Players to Watch:Duke Price, Sr., WR-DB; Bryce Pasquariello, Sr., RB-LB; Zach Ellsworth, Sr., QB-DB; Kyle Miller, Sr., WR-DB; Austin Carstensen, Sr., TE-DB; Jesse Jolliff, Sr., RB-NG; John Kaser, Sr., OL-DL; Darrian Owens, Soph., WR-DB; Devonta Anderson, Jr., RB-DB; Shaquille Owens, Jr., OL-DL; Keegan Bess, Jr., TB-DB, Grant Stokes, Soph., OL-LB; Trevor Villegas, Jr., OL-LB; Devin Daugherty, Jr., QB-DB.
Outlook: Skill positions will be the Generals' strength with the likes of three-year letterman Price and fellow senior Pasquariello leading the spread offense, which scored 94 of 241 points last season in the first quarter. Coach McCreary likes the team's speed and says the players ‘‘have good football sense.’’ The big worry is the offensive line. The OCC looks very balanced with defending champion Ashland, Clear Fork, Orrville, Lexington and Wooster all having shots at the title. The Wooster- Orrville rivalry has its 100th meeting this season in Week 10 and is one of the oldest in Ohio.
