The Indians lost their final nine games last year after defeating Conotton Valley (0-10) 27-0 in the season opener.

Outlook: Skill positions will be the Generals' strength with the likes of three-year letterman Price and fellow senior Pasquariello leading the spread offense, which scored 94 of 241 points last season in the first quarter. Coach McCreary likes the team's speed and says the players ‘‘have good football sense.’’ The big worry is the offensive line. The OCC looks very balanced with defending champion Ashland, Clear Fork, Orrville, Lexington and Wooster all having shots at the title. The Wooster- Orrville rivalry has its 100th meeting this season in Week 10 and is one of the oldest in Ohio.

Outlook: Eicheldinger enters his first season as Pioneers football coach after serving as the varsity offensive and defensive line coach for four years. ‘‘We have a young team of talented skill players that are ready to showcase their skills in our multiple-set offense,’’ said Eicheldinger, who is also the wrestling coach at WRA. ‘‘Defensively, a move to a 4-4 will allow us to be more effective in stopping the run. There are some question marks up front this year, but we're looking to get those answered during this preseason.’’
